Christine Verhulp
Founder/Executive Director
In addition to a lengthy career in business in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, Christine has actively served children, youth and communities in various roles ranging from a Children’s Ministry Director to the Executive Director of the Britannia Woods Community House. Christine is excited to be part of a leadership team (urbanpromiseinternational.com) working around the globe with one goal: to provide children and youth with the support needed to succeed academically, grow spiritually, and develop into leaders who can bring positive change to their communities.
Melissa Angandeh
Ministry Advisor
Melissa grew up in the OCH community of Britannia Woods and worked at the Britannia Woods Community House from 2013-2017. Melissa is a graduate of the Social Work Program at Cite Collegiale and presently serving as advisor for the new site launch of UrbanPromise in our city.

Youth StreetLeaders
High school age youth are hired to work at camps as StreetLeaders. StreetLeaders are trained to lead, coached to serve and required to try their best. We also help youth build resumes, apply for school and navigate their teenage years. Youth interested in completing High School Volunteer hours, please contact Christine by email.
